nheuser-Busch InBev buys Modelo for $20 billion

Belgian brewer Anheuser-Busch InBev said it agreed to buy the remaining stake in Mexican brewer Grupo Modelo that it does not already own.

The total deal value would be $20.1 billion and the total enterprise value is estimated to be approximately $32.2 billion.

Following the purchase, the company will maintain Grupo Modelo's name and headquarters in Mexico City.
