Nicaragua aims for $1.5 billion in foreign investment this year

 

This year Nicaragua will attract $1.5 billion in foreign direct investment this year, a senior official said. Last year, the comparable figure was $1.2 billion.

The official said that investors are attracted by their freedom to move about the country without the big security details that are required in other parts of Latin America.
