Nicaragua boosts trade despite border red tape
Monday, March 19, 2012
Nicaragua's trade with the rest of the world has grown by 15 percent in the first three months of the year, compared with the same period of last year.
Growth has been achieved despite various problems faced by businesses in Nicaragua in their efforts to send merchandise across the country's borders.
The growth has been most marked in white goods, textiles, food and drink.
