Nicaragua free zones stage a recovery

 

Investment in Nicaragua’s free zones has been picking up this year, with the government reporting the arrival of 167 companies so far.

Last year was a big setback for the sector when the US removed its preferential tariffs to Nicaragua that allowed it to use non-Cafta threads and textiles.
