Nicaragua remittances up 6 percent

During the past year, remittances to Nicaragua totaled $1.26 billion, 6 percent more than were received in 2015.

Figures from the Central Bank of Nicaragua show that in 2016 the country received $71 million more in remittances than the previous year.
