Nicaragua's exports grow almost 8 percent

Nicaragua's exports totaled $1.63 billion in the first seven months of the year, compared with the same period last year, the country's exports authority, Cetrex, said.

The figure shows a 7.8 percent increase compared with the January-July period last year.

In terms of volume, Nicaragua's exports grew 11.7 percent, representing 1.22 million metric tons of goods, led by coffee.
