Nicaragua's sales to Europe are the lowest

Wednesday, August 27, 2014

One year after an association agreement between the European Union and Central America, Nicaragua is the region's country with the lowest export figures to Europe.

Nicaragua accounts for only 7 percent of the region's total exports to Europe, said Orlando Solórzano, head of the Nicaraguan Trade and Industry Ministry.

"Our trade with Europe is low, but we are seeking to increase it," he added.
