Nicaragua's trade gap widens 3.9 percent

Friday, December 27, 2013

Nicaragua's trade deficit grew 3.9 percent up to October this year.

The figure represents $2.2 billion, compared with the $2.02 billion from January to October 2012.

The main reasons behind the widening of the country's trade gap were slower exports and a drop in imports, the central bank said.
