Nicaragua sees more cruise tourists

Nicaraguan authorities are expecting between 36 and 39 cruise ships to arrive to the country's ports for the October, 2014-May, 2015 season, said Mayra Salinas, president of the Nicaraguan Tourism Institute, Intur.

The ships arriving this year are larger then last year's, with capacity for up to 2,500 passengers each, Salinas said.

Thirty-nine ships arrived to Nicaragua furing the previous cruise season.
