Nicaragua sold 26 percent less beef to Venezuela

Nicaragua's beef exports to Venezuela dropped 26 percent during the first three months of the year.

It was the largest drop recorded out of Nicaragua's total beef exports, as sales to the United States, and Asia also fell, according to the country's beef exporter's association.

The total value of Nicaraguan beef sales for the same period dropped 7 percent, said the president of the association, Juan Sebastián Chamorro.
