Nicaragua takes giant steps in shoe manufacture

Nicaragua is taking important steps in becoming a world-class shoe industry manufacturer, attracting companies such as Clarks, Dillard's, Brown Shoe Company and Geox.

Nicaragua's geographical position is one of its most attractive features, as instability and rising prices in China are making companies move away.

Furthermore, Nicaragua offers free access due to its inclusion in the Central American and Caribbean free trade agreement, Cafta, and the recently signed association agreement with Europe.
