Nicaragua to grow 4.5 percent this year: Minister

Nicaragua's economy will grow 4.5 percent this year, Finance Minister Iván Acosta said.

Improving commodity prices, particularly coffee, and a recovery in the U.S. economy will spur growth, he added.

Acosta's projection is higher than the 4.1 percent forecast by the Nicaraguan Foundation for Economic and Social Development.
