Nicaragua to host mining congress

Nicaragua will host the I International Mining Congress 2014, from August 12 to 14 this year in Managua.

Topics to be discussed at the event include technology development, potential exploitation areas and anti-pollution programs.

Nicaragua's mining production capacity grew almost three-fold from 2007 and 2013, attracting the investment of international companies.
