Nicaragua to unveil first luxury hotel at Guacalito

Mukul Resort & Spa, the first luxury boutique hotel in Nicaragua, will open on February 1 at Guacalito de la Isla.

The hotel will be built on a 1,670 acre, $250 million private beach community on Nicaragua's Emerald Coast created by businessman Carlos Pellas.

Mukul and Guacalito de la Isla are the vision of Pellas, whose family business include transportation, computers, sugar, ethanol, the Flor de Caña Rum company and Vivian Pellas Hospital.
