Nicaraguan coffee farmers create alliance

Nicaraguan coffee farmers announced the creation of the Nicaraguan coffee growers' alliance.

The aim is to design a coffee farming plan, in order to boost the country's competitiveness.

The Nicaraguan coffee exporters' association estimates up to $100 million in losses for this year's harvest due to the coffee rust fungus.
