Nicaraguans very happy with government, poll says

A poll by M&R Consultants revealed that 75 percent of Nicaraguan are happy with the way president Daniel Ortega is running the country.

Sixty-eight percent believe the economy will improve this year. However, 54 percent said they would consider moving to another country, such as Costa Rica, Panama, United States or Spain, to find better opportunities.

In terms of government, 33 percent said the country should move towards "21st Century Socialism", a style promoted by the late Venezuelan leader Hugo Chávez.
