No room for a second canal, Panama tells Nicaragua

 

After months of polite statements on Nicaragua’s mega-project, the Panama Canal Authority has used straight talking.

The authority has said there is no way that two inter-oceanic canals con share the Central American isthmus. Nicaragua had maintained that the canals would complement each other.
