Obama to form alliance against poverty in El Salvador

When President Obama visits El Salvador this month he aims to form an alliance for economic growth in the fight against poverty, President Mauricio Funes of El Salvador said.

“He’ll be coming to El Salvador becuase he has chosen a model country in Central America and a model society as a reference, in order to build what he is calling the alliance for growth,” said Funes

Funes added that El Salvador will not be viable as a society until it resolves its poverty problem.
