Office Depot to outsource finance jobs from Boca Raton to Guatemala and India

Office Depot is outsourcing about 80 finance jobs from its Boca Raton headquarters to Guatemala and India, the office-supply retail company said.

The company has a contract with Capgemini, a global outsourcing firm, for an offshore arrangement in the two countries. Workers who lose their jobs will receive severance and other benefits, Office Depot said.

Weakness in the office supply business and lower sales led to Office Depot's decision.
