Reports of oil off Guatemala’s Caribbean coast are sparking investor interest.

Positive results were recently reported, following exploration in the area of Gracias a Dios, by the Norwegian-American company Petroleum Geo-Service.

Guatemala’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has already received numerous expressions of interest, mostly from foreign companies.
