Our pact with El Salvador, by Barack Obama

The United States and El Salvador will sign an association for growth, a pact on trade, investment and economic development.

Cooperation will not be based only on aid but on achieving results on the basis of shared responsibility, said Barack Obama in an exclusive interview.

At least three times, the US president emphasized that the initiative will depend on the joint efforts of the government, the private sector, international partners and the Salvadoran people themselves.
