Panama aims to have 200 headquarters of multinational companies next year

Panama plans to have the headquarters of 200 multinational companies established in the country by the end of next year.

At present, 51 multinationals have taken advantage of the regime that allows them to set up head offices, and six more are preparing the necessary permits.

The multinational offices have invested $338 million in Panama since 2005, as well as creating 746 jobs for Panamanians.
