Panama and Costa Rica are cheapest countries of region

 

Contrary to what many believe, Panama and Costa Rica are the cheapest countries in Central America in terms of the purchasing power of their inhabitants.

The price of a cup of coffee in San José might cost double the price in Managua, but the cost is less for Costa Ricans.
