Panama and Japan seek to reinforce bilateral ties

Panamanian Foreign Minister Francisco Álvarez de Soto travelled to Japan seeking to bolster bilateral ties with the Asian country.
Among the topics to be discussed are Panama Canal tariffs and the construction of Line 3 of the Panama City Metro system.
Japan's Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida has repeatedly expressed interest in Japan's participation in the construction of the 21-kilometer Line 3, which will cross the Panama Canal via a tunnel or bridge.
