Panama and UK sign double tax treaty

Panama and the UK signed yesterday a double taxation treaty, signed by Panamanian Foreign Minister Fernando Núñez, and his British counterpart William Hague.

The treaty will allow Panama strengthen its commercial relations with the UK, as well as help get rid of its image as a tax haven.

Among the topics the Ministers discussed during the signing ceremony were corporate rents, capital gains and interest rates.
