Wednesday, January 21, 2015

Panama’s government has given approval for a free trade zone in the province of Herrera, where what is described as an eco-industrial park requiring an investment of $30 million for its first phase will be constructed.

The project is being led by a group of Panamanian businessmen and European investors, who with the construction of the eco-industrial park intend to attract agribusiness firms and companies from other sectors such as logistics and technology.
