Panama banks approve credit worth $9 billion

Banks in Panama approved $9 billion worth of credit in the first nine months of the year, according to the country's banking authority.

The number is $995 million more compared with the same period last year.

The highest amount of credit was for the trade sector, with $5.5 billion.
