Panama borrowing to be at lower costs

The uncertainty caused in the markets by the vote of the United Kingdom to abandon the European Union has encouraged investors to seek refuge in government bonds.

US bonds have recorded historically low yields due to the increase in demand. Panama bond yields also have hit record lows, meaning that investors consider the nation’s debt to be safe, allowing it to finance its borrowing at a lower cost.
