Panama builders to go on indefinite strike

Panama's construction workers are set to begin an indefinite strike Wednesday this week.

Some 85,000 workers, who represent 90 percent of Panama's construction industry workforce, will take industrial action over a salary dispute.

The country's construction workers union, Suntracs, and the construction chamber Capac failed to reach an agreement over proposed salary increases over the next four years.
