Panama Canal aims for $3.2 billion next year

The Panama Canal reckons that this year it will earn $3 billion in revenue and $3.2 billion next year.

The canal authority aims to raise earnings from the storage of liquefied natural gas and tourism to boost its earnings amid the trade war between China and the United States.

Jorge Luis Quijano, the administrator said that gas is to be stored on the Pacific Coast, while in the Gatún lake a cruise port and water parks will be concussed along with a cable car at Miraflores.
