Panama Canal chiefs in talks for new fees
The Panama Canal Authority has begun a series of consultations in order to set new fees for using the Canal, once expansion works have finished.
"We've had positive talks and have gathered information to improve our models and proposals, which we will have ready for our next meetings", said the Canal administrator, Jorge Quijano.
Among the organizations that have participated in the talks are the International Chamber of Shipping, the World Shipping Council and Intercargo.
