Panama Canal to host 230 cruise ships this season

At least 230 cruise ships will pass through the now broadened Panama Canal in the 2016-17 season, which runs from October 4 to next April.

The Panama Canal Authority reports that the first cruise ship of the season will be the Coral Princess, which will leave Los Angeles and head for the East Coast of the United States. The upcoming season includes itineraries okn both coasts of the US.
