Panama close to agreement with Del Monte

Panama’s government is aiming to present a proposal with the multinational fruit company Del Monte to the plenary of the National Assembly in January.

Minister of the Presidency Álvaro Alemán said that the negotiations are almost complete. They were supposed to be closed in July, but are expected to be wrapped up in the next six weeks.
