Panama closes in on Costa Rican tourism crown

Panama received 2.5 million tourists in 2015 but earned much more than them from the 2.6 million Costa Rica received in the same year.

The Comptroller General’s Office of Panama estimated foreign exchange earnings from tourism at $4.2 million, compared to the $2.6 million that Costa Rica received.
