Panama Fruit squeezes more juice out of exports

Panamanian pineapple producer Panama Fruit has begun to export pineapple juice in Europe as a marketing device.

Exports in the form of juice give producers the possibility of using fruit that is not of exportable quality.

The first 60-liter container was sent to Holland. Panama Fruit aims to export some 300 tons of pineapple a month.
