Panama hailed as world-class business hub

Panama is becoming a world-class business hub and platform for international companies, agreed Ana Pastor, Spain's Development Minister, and Benita Ferrero-Wadner, president of the EuroAmerica Foundation.

"Panama has a diverse and open economy, thanks to its ambitious infrastructure and private sector initiatives", Pastor added.

Olmedo Alfaro, director of Panama Pacífico, proposed to adopt an Asian model of outsourcing services, in order to attract European investment.
