Panama has more than 6.2 million cellphone lines

In Panama there are now 158 active cellphones for every 100 people, according to authorities.
Statistics show that active cellular lines in the country reached more than 6.2 million at the end of last year, compared with 3.9 million inhabitants.
Ninety percent of the total active cellphone lines are used with prepaid plans.
