Cable and Wireless Communications said demand in Panama was in part offsetting poor trading in the Caribbean, where it lost mobile subscribers in Jamaica, resulting in a 'satisfactory' quarter.\
\
The company, which demerged from the former Cable & Wireless in March 2010, said its mobile services in Panama had continued to perform well, and it had also benefitted from stronger enterprise demand in the country. Shares in Cable & Wireless Communications, have lost more than a third of their value since a demerger. \
