Panama hotel occupancy to reach 60 percent

Panama's hotel occupancy is set to reach 60 percent before the end of December, according to the country's tourism authority, ATP.

Currently hotel occupancy is at 54 percent, while each visitor spends between $1,600 and $1,800 per six-day stay.

The tourism authority is focusing on attracting domestic and business tourists.
