Panama is leader of competitiveness in the region

Panama ranks first in Central America for competitiveness, at spot number 40 in the World Economic Forum's Global Competitiveness Index.
Costa Rica comes second, at 54, followed by Guatemala at 86.
The least competitive countries in the region are El Salvador at number 97, Nicaragua at 99 and Honduras, at 111.
