Panama launches $750 million in international bonds

The government of Panama issued international bonds worth $750 million.
The banks in charge of handling the transaction were Merrill Lynch, Bank of America and Credit Suisse. The bonds are valid until 2053, with a yield of 4.3 percent.
Investors from Latin America, United States, Europe and Asia have made offers for the bonds of more than $4.5 billion.
