Panama launches film industry co-production incentive

The Panama Film Commission announced the creation of MEETS, a co-production market for Latin American fiction films that will also deliver a $25,000 award.

"I’m certain that MEETS will provide the Latin American film industry and our filmmakers the proper tools to finance, produce, sale, and promote their projects," said MEETS director Arianne Bendetti.

The new co-production market adds to an ongoing effort to strengthen Panama’s appeal for the regional film industry.
