Panama leads economic projections for 2019

With expected growth of 5.9 percent this year, Panama leads economic projections in the isthmus for third year in a row, according to the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Honduras, with 3.6 percent, is second in Central America, while Nicaragua is last, with an antiicpated decline of 2 percent.
The ranking is based on data from central banks (numbers in brackets indicate expected growth in each country).
