Panama leads in workforce productivity

Panama leads Central America in workforce productivity, according to a recent study by the Economic Commission for Central America and the Caribbean, Eclac.

The figure for Panama stands at $17,000, followed by Costa Rica with $13,000 and El Salvador with $7,000.

At the bottom of the list of 25 countries are Guatemala, with $5,500, Honduras with $4,000 and Nicaragua with $3,000.
