Panama leads region in foreign investment

Panama is the Central American country with most foreign investment, according to a study by the Economic Commission for Latin America.

During 2012, the country saw a 10 percent increase in foreign investment, the report showed.

In order to exchange ideas to improve the attraction and use of foreign investment, the government and private sector will organize a forum in September called "Developing and Structuring Business in Panama".
