Panama legislators urged to curb laundering

Panamanian legislators were urged Wednesday to pass new reforms aimed at curbing the Central American country’s rampant money laundering.

Finance Minister Dulcidio de la Guardia said reform is urgently needed to protect the nation's economy from illicit financial activity.
