Panama-Mexico trade accord moves forward

The Panamanian government approved the first round of talks towards a free trade accord with Mexico.
The project, which still has to go to a second and third round, will boost Panama's entry to the Pacific Alliance trade bloc.
Mexico represents a market of more than 120 million people with a gross domestic product of $15,600 per capita.
