Panama plans construction of new ports

The Panama Canal administrator, Jorge Quijano, presented business and development opportunities after the Canal expansion works are complete.

Over the next weeks, he will present to the Canal Authority a project to build a port in the Corazal region.

His project also includes a smaller port designed for ships carrying vehicles and heavy duty equipment, which will be promoted in Japan.
