Panama prepares second stage of Metro

Panama announced it will receive financing from the Latin American Development Bank to carry out studies for the second stage of the capital city's Metro transport system.

The country's Minister of Economy, Frank De Lima, said the project will be under the supervision of the Ministry of the Metro.

The Bank is currently financing the first stage of the Metro with some $1.8 billion.
