Panama President boosts electricity projects

Panamanian leader Juan Carlos Varela is boosting efforts to solve the country's energy generation and transmission crisis.
Varela and his Colombian counterpart Juan Manuel Santos reactivated a joint electricity project, which will also supply energy to the rest of Central America.
Other plans include a fourth transmission line in the Caribbean and an emergency plan for the country's hydroelectric plants for next year's dry season.
